What methods of payment do you accept?
On the day of the silent auction, we will accept cash, checks and major credit cards via paypal. (Please be aware that credit card payments via paypal may prevent you from being able to leave with your item on the day of the auction. Complete instructions for payment via paypal will be available at the auction for those who have chosen that option. Checks are encouraged.) If you are unable to pick up your item on the day of the auction, we will accept payment by check.
When does bidding close?
Bidding will close promptly at 2:30 pm. on November 16 (the day of the auction).
When will I know if I have won? How do I receive my item?
Once bidding closes at 2:30, we will ask everyone to leave the auction room so we can review the bid sheets and determine the winners. Doors to the auction will reopen at 2:45 pm to allow bidders to check if they won and, if they did, to pay for and receive their items. If you are unable to be at the auction at 2:45 pm and you are a winner, a member of the auction staff will call you using the phone number you provided on the bid sheet to inform you of your winnings and arrange for payment and pick up of items. Winner who are unable to pick up their items at the end of the auction are encouraged to do so after church (approximately 11 am) on Sunday the 17th or to arrange pick up during church office hours.
Do I have to be at the auction to bid?
Yes. Proxy bidding is allowed, however you must arrange for your own proxy; we are unable to provide proxy bidders. We do not accept online bids.
